For businesses listed on the ThingDeck Directory. Last updated August 2026.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By submitting a "List Your Business" application, or by maintaining an active listing on the ThingDeck Directory ("ThingDeck", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service on behalf of the business you represent. If you do not agree, do not submit an application.
2. Eligibility & Accuracy of Information
You must be authorized to submit information on behalf of the business named in your application. All details you provide — business registration, founded year, industry experience, service area, brand partnerships, and certifications — must be accurate and kept up to date. ThingDeck may request supporting documentation to verify any claim before or after a listing goes live.
3. Review & Verification
Submitted applications are reviewed before publication, typically within 2 business days. ThingDeck may independently verify brand certifications and business registration details, decline an application, or request additional information at its discretion. A "Verified" badge indicates ThingDeck has confirmed a subset of the claims made in your application; it is not a guarantee of workmanship or business conduct.
4. Listing Content & Conduct
You are responsible for the accuracy of your public profile, including services offered, brand partnerships, and any logo or photo you provide (you confirm you hold the rights to use it). You agree not to misrepresent certifications, ratings, or reviews, and to respond to customer inquiries made through the directory in good faith and in a timely manner.
5. Customer Reviews & Ratings
Ratings and reviews on your profile reflect feedback from customers who engaged your business through ThingDeck. Attempting to manipulate ratings — including incentivized, fake, or duplicate reviews — is grounds for listing suspension or removal.
6. Data Use
Information submitted through the "List Your Business" form is used to create and maintain your public directory profile and to contact you about your application. See our Privacy Policy for details on how contact information is stored and used.
7. Suspension & Removal
ThingDeck may suspend or remove a listing that violates these Terms, contains inaccurate or unverifiable claims, or receives a pattern of credible customer complaints. Where practical, we'll notify you and give you an opportunity to correct the issue first.
8. Liability
ThingDeck is a directory that connects customers with independent, third-party service providers. We are not a party to any contract, quote, or installation agreement between you and a customer, and we are not liable for the quality, safety, or outcome of work performed by listed providers.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to maintain an active listing after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
